what if..

What would happen if you could fly whenever you wanted? When would you use this ability?
If I could fly anywhere I wanted, I would definitely use this gift to travel the world. One of my goals in life is to travel throughout Europe and to visit at least half of the countries within it. I would love to discover and be educated on the different cultures and histories unique to each of the continents rural as well as urban areas. Flying would probably help make this task a heck of a lot easier and cheaper, not to mention that I would greatly enjoy the magnificent landscapes and views of nature only accessible through the great heights and altitudes flying would ultimately provide.
What would happen if there were no televisions? Why would this be good? Bad?
If there were no televisions, it would rarely affect me at all. I scarcely watch TV as it is, so not watching television would probably just leave me extra time to study or do homework. However, speaking in overall terms, television most likely does take up the majority of a person’s time, so not having it could prove eventful to the future of the country. It would lead some to exercise, instead of lazing around all day, and even to students doing better in school due to and increase in time. Not having TV would impact the advertisement and entertainment industries immensely though, because television is essentially where they receive the most media coverage from, so this could have both positive and negative outcomes in my opinion.
What if all the streets were rivers? What would be different?
If all the streets were rivers then mobilization would probably be a lot more complicated. Travel by boat would be exciting, but the automobile is without a doubt, the most efficient form of transportation, in regards to local travel anyways. Not only would rules such as lanes and speeds be difficult to establish, but the government would also have to take in account the safety of marine life. Weather conditions would also affect rivers more than they do roads, so varying weather patterns could prove troublesome when traveling.
What would happen if people never co-operated? Why do you think it is important to co-operate?
If people never co-operated, ultimately, the world would be a chaotic mess. No one would care about anyone or anything, and everything that would previously be completed quickly using group and team efforts, would take an eternity to accomplish individually, or be impossible to do period. Just think. There could be no construction, orchestras, choirs, clubs, organizations, or really anything involving interactive association and cooperation between human beings. Cooperation is imperative to a successful and productive existence of any species in general.

What would happen if it really did rain cats and dogs?
If it really did rain cats and dogs, first of all, I would be extremely shocked and confused. The overpopulation of these animals would eventually cause food shortages, and lack of space in shelters, or really anywhere to house them all in. Then the whole issue of disease and sanitation would result. Cities would be poop ridden and would eventually turn into stinking slums if the problem would not be severely addressed.
What would happen if animals could talk? What are some of the questions you would like to ask animals?
If animals could talk, that would be amazing. It would be wonderful to discover the knowledge and wisdom so confined within their silence. Not only this, but the pain and suffering they experience constantly could finally be exploited, and stopped. Vegetarian lifestyles would most likely be adopted in countries throughout the globe. I would love to ask them about religion, or if they even have a belief about life after death. I think this would be fascinating.
What would happen if everyone wore the same clothes?
If everyone wore the same clothes, the world would probably look very bland, and horrendously uniform. I don’t believe the conflict of expressing one’s individuality should be affected by this though. Personality, on its own, should show off a person’s character and individual tendency. Clothing is merely an outer shell to the core of a person’s true identity.
What would happen if you threw a piece of trash on the ground? What if everyone did?
If I threw a piece of trash on the ground, It would have most likely been a mistake because I try my best not to litter. I would pick it up and obviously walk it to the nearest trash can. If everybody just threw their trash on the ground, the world would be a stinking slum. Pollution and disease would be the norm, and ultimately, the human race would be wiped out due to unbearable living conditions.
What if you could walk up walls and across ceilings?
If I could walk up walls and across ceilings, i would definitely use this to my advantage when playing chasing games such as tag, or hide and go seek. I would win every time! No one could ever catch me. A downfall of this would be that I could never wear skirts anymore though. I would not want my underwear to be seen by anyone of course.

What would happen if you grew taller than trees? How would this change your life?
If I suddenly grew taller than a tree, I would be extremely self conscious first of all. That trait alone would probably set me into social seclusion for a good year or two until I grew more accustomed to my particular situation. My life would be a lot harder though. None of my current clothes would fit me, and I definitely couldn’t fit through the doors of any store, school, or public facility in general. Imagine how hard it would be to go to the bathroom. On the plus side, I would probably be awesome at basketball!
What would happen if there were no cars, buses, trains, boats, or planes? How would this change your life?
If there were no cars, buses, trains, boats, planes, or any other forms of transportation, it would be really hard to get anywhere on time. Everyone would have to walk everywhere, which would, on a positive note, make us a great deal healthier than we are now as a country. Accidents wouldn’t be a problem anymore as well and pollution due to exhaust would decrease dramatically.
What if everyone lived under water? Where would people live? What games would children play? What would school be like?
If everyone lived underwater, that would be awesome! People would live in skillfully crafted underwater buildings and palaces resembling the description of Atlantis, the lost empire. Kids would frolic around, playing water tag, swimming instead of running, or riding their seahorses instead of bicycles. How exciting would that be! School would probably be a lot alike to what we have now. I don’t imagine it very different at all, except maybe we’d know a lot more than what we already do about marine life and sciences.
What would happen if you found gold in your backyard?
If I was to find gold in my backyard, I think I would hire someone to mine it first. Then, depending on the amounts and after splitting, or giving a portion of the goods to the miner, I would sell some of it for money, and with the rest, make jewelry such as rings, necklaces or bracelets and send them as gifts to my close friends and family. I would store the money into my college fund for future necessity. Any extra money would go to an account set apart for a house or apartment.
What would you do if a bully bothered you on your way home?
If a bully bothered me on my way home, I would probably tell him/her to stop first. I would inquire as to their reason for doing that to me, being completely respectful and courteous the entire time. If the problem persisted, and the person angered me enough, I would get very mad and most likely yell at them badly. Obviously, after that, I would obviously have to arrange a new form of transportation home though.
What would you do if you did very poorly on a test?
If I did poorly on a test, it would motivate me even more to try harder on the next one. I would make sure to study and clearly understand the subject in question a lot better than I had the last time. If I got such a poor grade, it was evidently because I wasn’t paying attention, so I’d have to make sure to watch the teacher’s every explanation and response precisely, making sure not to miss any tips or guidelines that could essentially help me understand better.
What would you do if a friend borrows things from you but never returns them?
If a friend borrowed things from me and never returned them, I would confront them. I know my friends wouldn’t get mad at me for asking for a purse, or maybe a shirt back. They probably just forgot about it, which could be something I would do as well. It wouldn’t be a big deal at all.
What would you do if you were the teacher and everyone forgot his homework?
If I was a teacher, and I was faced with this situation, I would still give all of the students an incomplete for the day, with the possibility of it being turned in for a late grade though. Just because everyone forgot it wouldn’t make me lenient to their laziness or forgetfulness. It merely shows that on that particular day, everyone was irresponsible in regards to their homework assignment. I think this consequent would benefit the students to become more responsible, so that their grade does not suffer in the future.
What would you do if you were in the middle of the lake and your boat began to leak?
If I was in the middle of a lake, and I noticed that my boat was leaking, I would most likely try to plug the hole with something first, making sure as little water as possible could get in. Then I would try to scoop at as much water as I could to keep the boat from sinking. I would row as fast as I could like that, nearing shore. If the boat did sink though, I’d abandon it and swim the rest of the way, praying that nothing eats me while doing this.
What would you do if your friend had a broken leg? How would you cheer him up?
If a friend of mine had a broken leg, I would definitely try to cheer him up. I would bring him magazines, and board games. I could also hang out with him at his house a few days, and just chat a while, cooking for him and joking around. Little things like that that could show someone that you care for them would most likely be enough to shed a little light on negative situation.

What would you do if you woke up in another country and no one could understand you?
If I woke up in another country and no one could understand me, I would be extremely frightened. I would have no family of friends there to comfort me or help me, so my first action would probably be to cry. After this little emotional outbreak, I would most likely try to collect myself and think rationally. I would try as best as I could to communicate my need of a phone to anyone willing to help me so that I could at least get in touch with my parents and go home.
What would you do if you ordered an ice cream cone and you forgot to bring money?
If I ordered an ice-cream cone and forgot to bring money, I admit, I would be a little embarrassed. The person already went through the trouble of making it for you, and now it would just sit there and melt. Not only would it be a loss of profit to them, but I would also be a heart wrenching experience to witness the slow and agonizing demise of something as delicious as ice-cream. That would really stink.
What would you do if someone got in front of you when you were in line at the movies?
I am not really the type of person to let myself be walked over upon. If I had been waiting in line for a movie ticket, I would expect everyone who comes in after me to step behind me. That would be the fair thing to do of course. If they cut me in line, I would confront them about it, and make them move to the back of the line, which is where they should have been.
What would you do if only one hot dog is left and neither you nor your friend has had one?
If there was only one hot dog, and neither I nor my friend had had one yet, I would simply split the dog in two and share. I would feel bad if I ate the whole thing myself, and hungry, if I let them have it. The rational thing to do would be to share of course. I know any one of my friends would do the same for me.
What would you do if two of your best friends went to the movies without inviting you?
If two of my best friends went to the movies without inviting me, I would be sad at first, wondering why they didn’t invite me to go with them. I would probably ask them why they did this. If they didn’t do it to hurt me or to be mean in any way, I would forgive them. On the other hand, if they were mad at me, and did it as a sign to display their anger towards me, I would want them to explain.

What would you do if you got a present you didn't like?
If I got a present I didn’t like, I would keep my mouth shut. It’s the thought that counts, and I’m sticking to that. If that person even went through the trouble and spent time to buy me a present, I would take a moment to appreciate their thoughtfulness and thank them, even if I didn’t like it. I wouldn’t want someone to reject a gift I gave them, so I could never do that to someone else.
What would you do if you promised to feed your pet and you didn't?
If I promised to feed my pet and I didn’t, I would feel extremely bad afterwards. I would make sure to feed them the next day precisely on time, and try not to eat for a day as a type of penance to makeup for the hunger I caused my pet. After all, animals are living beings too and they shouldn’t be forgotten. If I forgot constantly I would give the pet to someone who cared for it more than i would.
What would you do if someone told you a joke that you don't think is funny?
If someone told me a joke that wasn’t funny, I just wouldn’t laugh. I would most likely give them a strange look and make a joke out of their bad joke, but not in a mean way. I would hope that they would think it’s funny and just laugh about it, although some would be offended. If it was a friend of mine, I know they would just laugh it off.
What would you do if you wanted to be friends with someone who spoke no English?
If I wanted to be friends with someone who spoke no English, I would speak to them, trying my very best to communicate using body language and maybe using a dictionary and/or translator for their specific language. It would be difficult at first, but gradually, as they learn more English and the friendship grows, it would get easier. I would love for them to tell me about their heritage and culture, so the strain would definitely be worth it.
